These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the website, learning platform, mobile application, courses, mock tests, educational content, communication channels, payment services, support services and other offerings provided by JMC Study Hub (“JMC Study Hub”, “we”, “our”, “us” or the “Platform”).

JMC Study Hub operates as a sole proprietorship of Ranjan Kumar.

By creating an account, purchasing a course, accessing learning content, submitting an enquiry, using the JMC Study Hub mobile application, communicating through WhatsApp or otherwise using any JMC Study Hub service, the user agrees to these Terms.

1. Educational Services

JMC Study Hub provides educational and training services relating to Journalism, Mass Communication, Media, Creativity, Digital Skills, Artificial Intelligence, competitive examination preparation and related learning areas.

Services may include recorded courses, live classes, mock tests, quizzes, assessments, webinars, workshops, study material, mobile-app access, offline programmes, counselling, tutorials, digital resources and other educational services.

The nature, duration, curriculum, delivery format, validity and availability of individual services may vary depending on the relevant course or programme.

2. User Accounts

Users may be required to create an account to access certain services.

Users are responsible for:

  • providing accurate and current information;
  • maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials;
  • ensuring that passwords, OTPs and access credentials are not shared with unauthorised persons;
  • using the account only for lawful and authorised purposes.

JMC Study Hub may suspend or restrict an account where misuse, unauthorised sharing, fraudulent activity, abuse or violation of these Terms is reasonably suspected.

3. Learning Platform and Mobile Application

JMC Study Hub may provide learning access through its website, Tutor LMS, the JMC Study Hub mobile application, Proctur-supported app services or other authorised technology platforms.

Access may include courses, videos, assessments, mock tests, announcements, learning progress, certificates, notifications and other educational features.

Technical availability may occasionally be affected by maintenance, upgrades, internet connectivity, third-party services or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

4. Course Access and Validity

Course access shall remain available only for the validity period specified at the time of purchase or enrolment.

Upon expiry of the applicable validity period:

  • access to course content may be discontinued;
  • downloaded or offline content may become unavailable;
  • assessments or other course-linked features may no longer be accessible.

Extension, renewal or repurchase may be required where continued access is desired.

5. Payments

Course fees and other payments may be processed through Razorpay or other authorised payment-service providers.

Users are responsible for providing accurate billing and payment information.

JMC Study Hub may receive transaction-related information such as payment status, transaction ID, amount, invoice information and refund status, while confidential payment credentials are ordinarily processed by the relevant payment provider.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds, cancellations, transfers or course changes shall be governed by the applicable refund/cancellation policy communicated for the relevant product, course or service.

Any approved refund may be processed through the original payment method or other authorised method and may be subject to payment-gateway or banking timelines.

7. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all course videos, lectures, notes, PDFs, presentations, graphics, mock tests, quizzes, scripts, designs, website content, application content, branding, logos and other learning materials made available by JMC Study Hub are owned by, licensed to, or lawfully used by JMC Study Hub.

Users shall not, without prior written permission:

  • copy or reproduce content;
  • record or redistribute paid lectures;
  • share login credentials;
  • resell or commercially exploit course material;
  • upload JMC Study Hub content to public or private third-party platforms;
  • remove copyright or proprietary notices.

Access to educational content does not transfer ownership or intellectual-property rights to the user.

8. Acceptable Use

Users shall not use JMC Study Hub services for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, defamatory, disruptive or unauthorised purposes.

Prohibited activities include:

  • unauthorised access to another user’s account;
  • misuse of Platform data;
  • attempts to disrupt or compromise Platform security;
  • automated scraping or extraction without permission;
  • unauthorised redistribution of learning content;
  • impersonation or submission of false information;
  • misuse of WhatsApp, support or communication services.

9. Assessments, Mock Tests and Academic Performance

Mock tests, quizzes, scores, rankings, assessments and educational feedback are provided for learning and preparation purposes.

JMC Study Hub does not guarantee:

  • examination qualification;
  • admission;
  • employment;
  • rank;
  • selection;
  • academic result; or
  • any specific professional outcome.

Results depend upon numerous factors, including the learner’s own preparation, participation and performance.

10. WhatsApp and Communication Services

JMC Study Hub may use the WhatsApp Business Platform / WhatsApp Cloud API, email, SMS, app notifications, telephone or other communication channels for:

  • course enquiries;
  • admission assistance;
  • student support;
  • class and service updates;
  • reminders;
  • payment assistance;
  • educational communication; and
  • permitted promotional communication.

Users may opt out of promotional communication, subject to continued receipt of necessary service, transaction or account-related messages.

11. Third-Party Services

JMC Study Hub may use third-party technologies and services including Tutor LMS, Proctur, Razorpay, Meta/WhatsApp and Google Cloud.

Certain Platform functions may depend upon such third-party services.

Use of third-party services may also be subject to their respective terms, privacy practices and technical conditions.

12. Privacy and Personal Information

Personal information is processed in accordance with the JMC Study Hub Privacy Policy.

Users should review the Privacy Policy to understand how information is collected, used, retained, shared and protected.

13. Minors

Where a learner is a minor, registration, payment and use of services should be undertaken with the knowledge, involvement or consent of a parent or legal guardian, where applicable.

Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising the minor’s use of the Platform and educational services.

14. Service Changes

JMC Study Hub may modify, update, replace, discontinue or reorganise any course, feature, technology, schedule, educator, delivery method or service where reasonably necessary.

Where a material change affects a paid service, reasonable efforts will be made to provide an appropriate alternative, notification or support where applicable.

15. Suspension or Termination

JMC Study Hub may suspend, restrict or terminate access where:

  • these Terms are materially violated;
  • fraudulent or unlawful activity is suspected;
  • account credentials are improperly shared;
  • intellectual property is misused;
  • Platform security is threatened; or
  • payment obligations remain unresolved.

16. Disclaimer

Educational content is prepared for learning and informational purposes.

While reasonable efforts are made to maintain accuracy and quality, JMC Study Hub does not warrant that every piece of educational material, external reference or third-party information will always be error-free, complete or current.

Third-party websites, services or resources linked through the Platform are not controlled by JMC Study Hub.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted under applicable law, JMC Study Hub shall not be responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from:

  • internet or device failure;
  • third-party platform outages;
  • unauthorised user conduct;
  • loss of login credentials;
  • temporary technical disruption;
  • reliance on external third-party services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.

18. Changes to These Terms

JMC Study Hub may revise these Terms to reflect changes in law, technology, services, payment arrangements or business operations.

The latest version shall be published on the official website together with its effective date.

Continued use of the Platform after publication of revised Terms constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.

19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable in India.

Subject to applicable law, disputes relating to JMC Study Hub services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts having jurisdiction over the relevant JMC Study Hub business operations.
