About Course
Understand the Complete Research Publishing Journey—from Manuscript to Visibility
Publishing a research paper in a credible academic journal involves much more than writing a manuscript. Researchers need to understand journal selection, indexing, manuscript preparation, submission requirements, peer review, publication ethics, researcher identity, and post-publication visibility.
Start to Publish is a structured Hindi course designed for researchers who already have some familiarity with academic research but want greater clarity about how the publishing process actually works from beginning to end.
The course takes you through the complete publishing ecosystem—from understanding research papers, Scopus, Web of Science and journal quartiles, to developing your research identity through ORCID, Google Scholar, ResearchGate and researcher profiles. Syllabus
Move from Research Writing to Journal Submission
Learn how to develop the major sections of a research paper, understand author guidelines, prepare your manuscript for submission, use journal portals or email appropriately, and write a professional cover letter.
The course also explains what happens after submission, including peer review, editorial decisions, rejection, and responding to reviewer comments. Syllabus
Publish with Better Academic Awareness
A strong publishing strategy also requires knowing where not to publish. The course helps you understand predatory journals, plagiarism, authorship ethics, referencing tools, research visibility and ways to build a stronger long-term academic profile. Syllabus
Through Video Lectures, Study Materials, Practice Quizzes and Assignments, you can follow the publishing journey in a clear sequence and revisit important stages whenever required.
On the JMC Study Hub platform, you can save notes, track your learning progress, review quiz performance, access course resources, and post doubts or queries through your learning dashboard.
This course does not guarantee journal acceptance—the final decision always depends on the journal’s editorial and peer-review process. Instead, it helps you develop a more informed, systematic and publication-ready approach to academic publishing.
Understand the process. Prepare professionally. Publish with greater clarity.
