Answer- relief printing, intaglio, rotary, offset

Explanation

Relief printing (15th Century).

Relief prints are of the raised surface design on the block, the rest of the surface is cut away, only the raised portion is inked. Water-based inks are used. Examples of relief-printing processes include woodcut, metal cut, wood engraving, relief etching, linocut, rubber stamp, foam printing, potato printing, and some types of calligraphy1.

Intaglio printing (1430s)

Intaglio printing is the opposite of relief printing, in that the printing is done from ink that is below the surface of the plate2.

Rotary printing (1843)

A rotary printing press is a printing press in which the images to be printed are curved around a cylinder. Printing can be done on various substrates, including paper, cardboard, and plastic.3

Offset printing (1875)

Offset printing is a commonly used printing technique in which the inked image is transferred (or “offset”) from a plate to a rubber blanket, then to the printing surface.4
